Royal Look Gown
I got the perfect lavender color dress for the Mother of the Bride, with a rich look and perfect for a high class wedding. I felt like a queen from the Renaissance era. I just added a bit of fabric from alteration leftovers to cover the bra straps. But, the younger mothers can get away with a strapless bra. I’m 5 feet tall and got a size 2. Shortened the dress about 2 inches, and kept the gown long to the floor. It fit great!

Beautiful fit but looks like it had been worn
Loved the dress. It is a lil big so as suggested I ordered a size down and it fit perfect. Unfortunately it took 10 days to get to the store leaving me only today to try it on before leaving for CA wedding. The dress has pulled threads and bottom of dress looked like it had been worn. Since I have no time to exchange it I’ll try cleaning it with a damp clothe and trimming threads. Not thrilled but I’ll make do. Hopefully there is a credit for the extra effort I needed to put into wearing dress to wedding.
