Love the Shoe, but Not for Me

I really wanted this to be my next trail shoe. Unfortunately the upper is a bit too tight. The way the shoe is designed, it is too tight for me. The tongue fits around using elastic that provides a snug fit. Might be too snug if you have a higher volume foot like me. I also found the toe box to be a bit small but I need a wide toe box. The foam is where this shoe really shines. It’s a great balance of being firm enough to feel connected to the ground while also providing enough cushion from the impact. As much as I wanted to love this shoe, it’s designed in a way that does not work for me. Hope this helps you decide it this shoe will work for you.

Awful traction, unsafe

I have worn these a handful of times and have slipped at least once during each outing on dry, granite (grippy) rock sections. Not even running, just walking. This has never been a common occurrence for me with any other trail runners or my Keen hiking boots and shoes (which I love dearly). After slipping, slicing my knee open, and nearly knocking my head on rocks, I'm feeling unsafe wearing these. They're being retired to flat dirt paths only which is sad seeing as how expensive they were. Would absolutely not recommend these to anyone, especially if you go out alone.

the best

I typically do not like shoes that have a sewn in tongue and these were a little tight on the first wear but after that they were fine. I liked them so much I've bought 2 more pairs. I walk all day for my job (13+miles/day)and generally have an active life so I have a lot of time on my feet and good shoes are a must. I have many other brands and models to choose from but I have grabbed these about 95% of the time the last 3 months over my hokas and brooks. These don't have the aggressive cushioning of the other 2 brands but somehow my feet feel way less tired the next day. So glad I found these!

Comfortable but big gap in heel

These have a wider toe area, feel cushy but not squishy which I really value seem breathable . My only concern is on trails there is such a big gap around the heel ankle area that I feel is just gonna fill with dirt gravel and other things on trail most likely. If I wore a gaiters maybe it would work but idk.

These have restored my faith in running shoes!

I got a pair a few months ago and have put about 200 miles of walking/hiking/running on them since. I've tried a number of other shoes but haven't really found my "Goldilocks" pair until these! They're so comfortable and have genuinely exceeded my expectations. I use them for long runs, tempo runs, hill sprints, and even reach for them when going on walks just because they're so comfy. I'd love to see a version with a little more weather-resistance as your feet will get soaked in wet conditions. For reference, my feet measure about 4" across flat at the widest point and these fit comfortably for me in my usual size (6. 5).

Love!

I’ve been searching high and low for a flexible, all terrain shoe for my active senior lifestyle. My biggest annoyance is how tiny rocks get into my shoe causing me to stop to empty my shoe often during my adventure. This shoe is my dreams come true. It is designed with this in mind. I love this shoe so much I ordered a second pair to keep at my cabin.
