Devotion X Max 2 Walking Sneaker (Women)

Nice looking shoe with great cushioning in the heel cup. I was looking for more support for the ball of the foot area (Morton’s neuroma) and these didn’t work for me. I’m normally a 7 / 7 1/2 in sneakers and running shoes. I bought the 7 1/2…These were long… almost fit like an 8 on me. Not sure if a smaller size would offer more support where I need it. If I didn’t have a foot issue I would size down a half - whole size and they would be a nice walking or travel shoe. Width was fine.

I bought these because the brand I wanted sold out on Day 1 of Anniversary (shame on you, Nordstrom!). There is so much padding in the footbed the shoe feels unstable when walking -- there isn't any sense of contact with the ground. Yes, they are comfy and squooshy, but all the foam makes me feel as though I might topple over. Lengthwise -- a tad long, but not a full half-size.

I hadn’t heard about this brand but I decided to give it a try learning that it is designed specifically for women. Glad I did! It’s super comfortable and supportive. I went back and forth over which size 7 or 7 1/2. In an athletic shoe I usually go for the bigger size for more room in the toe box. However, I think there’s plenty in this shoe so kept the 7.

I have a high arch, bone spurs and plantar fasciitis plus tendonitis. It is a major problem trying to find sneakers that will support my arch, my heal and have a wide toe box along with an appropriate amount of cushioning. This shoe clicks on all points. I have gone thru so many sneakers I thought I would just have to be in pain for the rest of my life. I just ordered two more pair.

The shoes definitely provide support and would be comfortable for walking however I couldn’t get past them squeaking or slipping due to the material of the fabric every step. It sounded like you stepped on a duck they were very loud and noticeable. Sadly returned. I did love the color and it was true to the pictures.
