Engineered for conquering even the toughest terrain, this trail-running shoe pairs a durable, abrasion-resistant mesh upper with a grippy tread that provides sure footing on any surface, wet or dry.

Perfect for: Dedicated trail runners who see uneven surfaces, rocky debris and abruptly changing terrain as a challenge that needs to be conquered.

Upper: Breathable, high-strength mesh lets air circulate while keeping rocks, roots and other trail debris at bay. Forefoot rock guard helps protect toes against stubs, bumps and other trail mishaps. Padded collar helps secure dynamic lockdown that moves easily without getting loose.

Midsole Drop: 4mm. Classified as a low-drop measurement, it encourages shorter strides to help improve running cadence.

Lower: PWRRUN cushioning absorbs shock and promotes even landings on uneven surfaces. PWRTRAC multidirectional tread keeps every stride confidently grounded for distraction-free runs.

I absolutely love these shoes for trail running and hiking! This is my 3rd pair and will forever buy these. I also had to exchange this time for a smaller size and the process was so easy!

Awful

Can no longer get a wide shoe from Saucony that isn't also overly long. It wasn't always this way. Wides aren't nearly wide enough but they are way too long. It's now a trade off - slightly more room in the toe box but you'll have to live with the heel slipping. They also force your foot into over-pronation. The materials feel cheap. I doubt they'll last very long, and when they're cooked, my last ever pair of Saucony shoes go in the bin. Nothing lasts forever, not even your formerly favorite running shoe maker.

They are well padded, perfect for trail walking where hiking boots may be overkill. I haven't run in them so can't speak to that. I plan on walking the El Camino de Santiago so will take these and my hiking boots and I should be set!

Saucony Peregrine

I was looking for zero drop and good grip while out on trails but I have found my foot rolling inward as thes offer no mid support. I have many pairs of Saucony triumph and hurricane for off trail that are a wonderful supportive shoe. Unfortunately these for the trail do not offer the same support.
