Satin Evening Dress with Lace and Scoop Neckline

The lace covered back made my back look wider than it is. The lower part cutting in as it goes down wasn’t a flattering look. It was also too low cut for my taste. I think this dress would like ok better on someone with a smaller size. The quality of the material and dress is beautiful, just not in a large size.

This is a gorgeous dress! I bought it for my son's upcoming wedding. I am 5'2" and it is very long, longer than the other gowns I have bought. It has an elevated style and really stands out as a special dress. Because the bottom is flared with a toile slip underneath, I'm uncertain if it can be altered, but I'm going to investigate at Nordstroms. I ordered the Rose Frost and it is more champagne, not pinkish at all.

This is a beautiful dress! I purchase it in navy. It’s well made with a sueded satin material and fully lined. The front drapes beautifully and it’s not too low cut. Absolutely perfect.

I actually loved this but the dress was too big and there wasn't enough time to get it altered. The large and pointy chest area had me humming a Madonna song. I'm 5'7" if that helps and had on heels. Give yourself time to get it hemmed at least.

Beautiful dress but runs too small

This dress flatters the hourglass figure for certain. For reference, I am typically a size 8, 5’9”, 155 and 36D. I bought the 8. It is the right size for me. It fit well but felt snug in the hips due to the horizontal stitch running across the broadest part of my hips all around. I don’t feel I could go up a size though and could still sit fine in it. This dress has the wow factor and is very well made with a lovely, thick satiny fabric that looks high quality. The navy color is beautiful, deep and rich. The mesh top area and embroidery are lovely and the neckline is open and revealing although not too much so to me. I would just say if you carry more weight in your hips, go up a size due to the cut but if you are a lot smaller up top, that may not work. This is also very flattering in back the way it gathers hides a lot. I am flat and wide in that area and this gave me a rear! The embroidery is so perfectly done on the sides of the waist, just very complimentary. I may have chosen this dress for my daughter’s wedding except for the weight of it. Wow, it is the heaviest dress I have ever worn. Layer upon layer with tulle at the bottom. It’s just a lot. I am in my 50’s with hot flashes and it’s an evening wedding but outdoor service so I will not be choosing this dress, I am afraid I may pass out. If you don’t run hot and lean toward the hourglass shape, get this dress and it will be a show stopper!
