Rubi Knee High Boot

I was really disappointed in these, they look very cheap and not like the photos online. The color (cognac) was pretty and the sizing was fine, but online this looks like a structured boot through the leg. In person, the entire top of the boot is a very thin material and has absolutely zero structure. When worn, it slouches and wrinkles and looks cheap and sloppy. The fabric also feels like it will stretch quickly and the top will become even floppier as time goes on.

I would give these zero stars if I could- I actually can’t believe a buyer ever laid eyes on these. The shaft is so flimsy it doesn’t keep shape at all- they look like they should have cost $30 at a big box store.

I'm a true 7.5M and wear a 7.5M in Steve Madden shoes but I always wear a 7M in Steve Madden boots, these included. In other brands, I tend to size up in boots but i rec sizing down with these boots unless you have a wide foot. With a thick sock, there's still plenty of room for me in the 7M. I have a very high instep and had to use a long shoe horn in order to get into these boots but once I got in they were super comfortable and I'm very happy with the purchase. The dark brown is lovely and will only get better with age. I have small calves and ankles and find there's plenty of room in these. The shaft of the boot is not structured as in the photos; it puddles when wearing and folds over when off the foot.

These boots are super cute and comfy!! Can wear them with anything. I have the light color and they work for a night out in the city or a country concert!

Steve Madden does it again. The Rubi Knee High Boots are Fabulous!! Fit TTS. I bought my true size 81/2. Beautiful Italian Leather. They are slightly slouchy, but they don’t slouch too much. I bought the dark brown color. I Love them!!

These boots are exactly what I was looking for to wear with a variety of looks. The smell is incredible, the style for my boho moments/casually edgy, and they are not so thick at the calf that they will be super hot in an already hot area of the US. This is a great boot for all seasons. The only reason I did not give 5 stars, is the struggle a bit to get my heal in the boot. Cannot wait to style these.
