Romy Sleeveless Maxi Shirtdress

The dress is very nice but I had to buy it directly from Staud, as the two I bought from Nordstrom were both stitched incorrectly and wouldn’t lay properly and has off wrinkles on the left side near the waist area. I took off two stars for ordering the dress twice and having to return both for the same issue. And since I had already purchased the brown version of this dress from Bloomies, I knew how it was supposed to lay and that the blue ones from Nordstrom were made wrong in comparison. For $375, keeping a defective dress and/or paying additionally for restorative tailoring is just not acceptable. It’s not the first time I’ve found defects from expensive items from Nordstrom when compared to getting items from the manufacturer’s websites. Nordstrom needs more quality control.

One of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever put on. The tailoring is gorgeous - slims at the waist while remaining super comfortable. Would absolutely buy in other colors, and will be a new staple in my closet!

Love the way this dress fits. Light enough for the hot summer months. Very slimming through the waist. I will try it back on again and pay close attention to the stitching based on the negative review. So far, I plan on keeping it though.
