Rizzo Cigarette Pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants run big. The material is so thin they are probably slightly see through in the light. The material is stretchy which most may like but ultimately it's stretchy to the point of no real structural integrity. If you're looking for a pant to hold you in and support your stomach, it's not these. I'm a bigger girl and I would need to wear spanks under them to get any kind of flattering shape. Considering the quality of the material and the construction I can't imagine these pants will last long enough to make it a worthy purchase.

I purchased these pants a few years ago back when Unique Vintage had a storefront on Magnolia Blvd and I've been obsessed with them ever since. They have a wonderful shape and cut that is so flattering and unique. I wore my old pants so much that I've had to get the zipper replaced and the color has faded quite a bit. I saw that they finally restocked the belted rizzo, and was so incredibly disappointed with the quality today vs just a few years ago. My older pants purchased from Unique Vintage were made by a brand called Collectif and were 97% cotton 3% spandex. The new pants are 59% cotton 35% polyamide and 6% spandex and they feel like TRASH!! Please please please bring back the 97% cotton ones. These new pants have made me completely lose hope in unique vintage, a brand I used to associate with quality manufacturing. I am truly heartbroken and disappointed.
