Reversible Convertible Sustainable Down Coat

I received this coat as a gift, and I was so excited because I had been looking for a warm and cozy winter coat for quite a while. I didn’t want to settle for just another basic brand or style, and when I saw that this coat was convertible, I was over the moon! I also have one of Caalo’s raincoats (the black contrast stitch one; I believe it’s no longer sold). Sadly, this coat does not measure up to Caalo’s quality, and is NOT as warm as the company says. The description for the coat says that it’s rated up to 5°F—sure, if your body temperature runs a bit hot, like around 200°. The material is very thin, and not very water resistant. I simply could not believe the normal human being. The idea of a convertible coat seems great, but is poorly executed. The jacket part is actually cute, but once I added the bottom part, I felt I looked very bulky and awkward. I wish I could post a photo of myself wearing this coat, but the Internet is forever. I normally wouldn’t write a review this long, but because the price of this coat is so expensive (seriously, it’s Canada Goose prices!) I wanted to be as informative as possible. Do I think this code is worth it? Absolutely not. Save your money for Caalo’s raincoats and trench coats because they’re actually stylish. And if you still want a down coat, don’t get this one!
