RENO is a chino trouser inspired by the clothing of gold seekers who flocked from all over the world to seek their fortune in California in 1848, storming the American River and other waterways of the Sierra Nevada. Miners' trousers quickly became tattered and useless rags. From a stock of brown canvas used for tents, a German merchant created comfortable, sturdy, pocketless work trousers that were so successful that they entered the civilian world as an everyday garment. An endless triumph that lives again in the RENO trousers by Fortela, entirely Made in Italy and created in 100% Broken Cotton Denim , a fresh, resistant and comfortable fabric whose colours recall the shades of the earth and give the garment a light shine on the surface. It has a straight, soft and not tight cut . It falls impeccably along the entire leg and is wide on the thighs and hips, falling straight to the ankles, where the fabric is embellished with a classic smooth hem. With its regular , no-frills fit, it slims the silhouette without restricting movement and adapts to all body shapes, not accentuating curves, but enhancing the figure in a graceful way. A reinforced fabric strip, with belt loops and a classic single-button closure, provides support and highlights the curves of the hips. The waist height is regular and creates the right balance between the length of the legs and that of the torso. The zip fastening hidden by the flap, designed to accommodate a dynamic lifestyle, makes the garment extremely comfortable to wear, without altering its elegant finish. The pockets are the detail that makes the difference. Those on the back are double-welted , have an opening with two reinforced profiles and a clean and linear shape that helps to forge the refined and sophisticated profile of the trousers. The front ones, instead, start from the seam of the external side and have an inclination of about 30° up to the waist. They are perfect for containing small objects of daily use and, cut diagonally with respect to the side seam of the trousers, give the garment a more informal look. RENO, made of lightweight will fabric, is perfect to wear in the warmer months of the year and is the ideal starting point for creating casual or refined looks. It is extraordinarily versatile and lends itself to toning down elegant or sporty outfits. These chino pants are a must-have in every man's wardrobe. Perfect to pair with a simple polo or a t-shirt or a shirt for more formal occasions. The Fortela embroidery on the back draws all the attention. The stitching, sewn with a contrasting orange thread, pierces the fabric and remains hanging, testifying to the identity of the garment and demonstrating that it has the qualities necessary to last and age with the wearer. RENO is inspired by one of the garments that, more than any other, left a mark on the world of costume, when no one could resist the call of gold and California was transformed into the promised land. It is a pair of pants that carries with it a precise vision of the world, with a long and fascinating story to tell and a potential to be explored.
