Pleated Shimmering Georgette Flutter Sleeve Gown

I was going to wear this to my son's wedding. I went to get it tailored and discovered that the beading by the zipper was turning silver as the zipper was pulled up or down. The tailor tried to do it especially gently, and it still made silver marks on the beading by the zipper. This looks awful on an all black dress. I was quite disappointed. I returned the dress, and I don't recommend it. It's also very heavy because there's tons of crinoline under the skirt, but that does make it puff out and look pretty. I would've kept it if there wasn't this awful problem.

I bought this for my daughter’s upcoming wedding. It fits true to size based on the measurement guide. It is such a lovely dress that is appropriate for someone my age (mid 50s) but still youthful. I tried on 4 dresses but this was the keeper based on its elegant simplicity coupled with notable comfort.

I wore the 3 quarter sleeve version of this dress for my December wedding. It has a built in underskirt, and the pictures don't do it justice. I did size up 2 sizes because the back and bust run small. Previous reviews made me aware, and I had it altered. I received lots of compliments and wanted something nontraditional but elegant with a little shimmer.
