Picarol Double Breasted Wool Blend Coat

This is a stunning piece (ok I said that FOUR TIMES. I KNOW.) The fabric is soft and drapes beautifully. It is sooo modern-romantic. Makes you feel like somebody ought to be painting your portrait or something. It’s oversized, but in a smart way: the arms and length aren’t ginormous, so once you find your size, you’re not swimming in fabric. The Medium Brown is LOVELY: brown is the Black of the moment, and this shade goes with EVERYTHING. This is an exciting piece. It makes me look forward to cool weather. The only drawback? It’s not meant for super cold weather. But a lot of coats aren’t. I have a puffer that I can wear for super-chiller days (which, sadly, are fewer and further between in NYC). For the rest of them, there’s this lovely accompaniment to today’s looser fitting clothing. It’s a drapey work of art. LOVE!
