Galpina Waterproof Insulated Winter Boot (Women)

I moved to a snowy icy country and bought these for the winter. They are very sturdy but LIGHT- so you don't get tired. They feel like sneakers but are heigh enough to avoid most snow, completely waterproof, and have very grippy soles. Very happy with this purchase. They are also warm.

Don’t be turned off by my 3 star review. I love these shoes and will be keeping them. They are super cute and easy to style. I get lots of complements on them to. However upon wearing them it does appear the designer forgot to consider the natural curvature and arches of the foot. These shoes are not uncomfortable right out of the box but they have almost zero medial arch support. After hours of wearing them the parts of my foot that were able to make contact with the inside of the shoe became tender. I had to overwork the other muscles of my foot to maintain the lift of my medial arch. The layout of the foot bead it is mostly straight too. With the lacking arch support and straight layout, further up the shoe would collapse in. They are so straight it’s almost hard to tell the difference between left/right foot. Over time I can see this as a huge issue. In the mean time.. I’ll be ordering a nice pair of support insoles. I am hoping this will make it better. I added a photo of the sole of a bluestone boot for comparison.
