discolored after first wash
I usually never write reviews but noticed someone else had the same bad experience with these in the wash. The brown pair got discolored/grey streaks all over after the first wash. I also bought the red ones and they washed fine. They do run very big.

No back pockets
There are NO back pockets! This same style from a year ago did have back pockets. If a phone is put in side pocket you cannot bend over. Be careful about buying this pant.

What a waste of money. The directions say you can machine wash them but it leaves the fabric with terrible wear marks all over. It looks as if I washed them with sand paper. Now I have grey fuzzy streaks all over the supposedly brown pants. Its a shame since the fit and feel of the pants is great. Do not buy these.

Why all the hate?
These pants are fantastic. Size down just like you would for other NYDJ pants. If you're tall, these are 32" long. A unicorn!

Nice but VERY large
Purchased size 6 ( I'm 5'5'' and 130lbs) for a comfortable fit for work and they were huge! So I downsized to size 4 and still too big. Finally received my order with size 2 and hallelujah they are a keeper! Nice pants for work, washed up well, minimal ironing. I washed them in cool water and then hung to dry. Right before totally dry (as with my other NYDJ pants) I throw them in the dryer for about 10 minutes with a couple towels and a dryer sheet to get stiffness and minor wrinkles out. So far so good. Hopefully they will last a long time. I have worn NYDJ for years but what I don't love is the brands inconsistency even within the same size pants. Consequently, I have size 4's & 6's for Marilyn fit, 4's for Barbara boot fit, 4's and 6's in Sheri Slim and now size 2 with these! Oh and my corduroys are size 4 and slightly large in the waist. Hard to believe with the price you pay for this brand :(

I always buy size 12 in this brand; I've had at least a dozen pairs. This was so large, I think I need to go down 2 sizes.
