Flimsy and disappointing

I picked these out for hubby to give me for Christmas. They are extremely light and flimsy feeling - similar to another review for a similar pair. Feels like plastic with gold overlay. Unfortunately we will be returning and looking at our local jewelry store instead for something of guaranteed higher quality. The snap closure is also not well aligned which contributes to the cheap feel. Lastly, they came in a plastic bag inside a cloth pouch, not even a nice earring box. Disappointed all around. :(
