The board is set, the project is waiting, and the only thing between you and the send is the work. The Black Diamond Notion Pant has been showing up to exactly that scenario for nearly a decade, earning a loyal following among climbers who want a pant that disappears into the session rather than getting in the way of it. Soft organic cotton twill moves naturally through dynamic movement without the plastic feel of synthetic fabrics, and the fit stays comfortable from warmup to the last burn of the day. Black Diamond built the Notion around the details that matter on the wall. A soft elastic waistband layers cleanly under a harness without creating pressure points mid-route, and a gusseted inseam gives you the range of motion to step high and flag wide without pulling at the seams. Reinforced knees stand up to repeated kneebar sequences and rough rock without thinning out, and elastic cuffs keep fabric from catching on shoes or holds mid-climb. Four pockets, including a zippered side pocket, handle everything from chalk to keys to your phone between burns.
