Different weave
The fabric is 100% cotton, but it is a weave that I'm not used to. I'm pretty sure it will work, but old dogs can't do new tricks.

Exception to the normal high quality
I am a big fan of Nordstrom brand dress shirts, and have bought around 22 in the last 24 years, and wear them every day at work. I like this recently purchased shirt, however, on the first day I wore it, both buttons on one cuff fell off. They were not properly sewn, which is unusual for Nordstrom brand dress shirts. I have never had this issue before, so I believe it to be an exception. I will drop by Norstrom the next chance I get and I'm sure it can be repaired quickly.
