Poor Return Experience – Proceed with Caution
I recently purchased this dress for a formal event in Miami, hoping it would be a standout piece.
Unfortunately, when it arrived, the color and style looked more like something worn by a follower of the Hare Krishna religion—not at all what I expected or suitable for the occasion.
I never tried the dress on. The tags were still intact, and I returned it exactly as received. It came with a dust bag the size of a clutch, which was far too small to fit the dress back into. Still, I returned the dust bag along with the dress, carefully folded it, wrapped it in shipping paper, and packaged it neatly in a box.
A couple of weeks later, I received an email from Nordstrom stating that my return was rejected due to the dress being "damaged." No photos were provided, and the dress wasn’t returned to me either. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since I took great care in returning it properly.
I have called into Nordstrom twice as they are reaching out to their vendor and have been unsuccessful with communication.
It’s really unfortunate—I genuinely wanted to support this business. But based on this experience, I’m not confident they operate with the level of integrity I expect from a retailer. I advise potential shoppers to be cautious, especially when it comes to returns from this vendor.
