Disappointing - way too narrow!
I purchased these shoes and love the design and quality. However, these are hands down the most narrow, uncomfortable New Balance that I've owned. I don't have overly wide feet, and have not had any issues with any other trainers. I have tried to persevere and break them in but my poor feet have given up. The size is just off somehow, very long and too narrow.

The New Balance 991v2 boldly and proudly embraces the perfection and superiority of the Made Line. Faithfully transforming the quality and comfort into a brand new expression of continuous excellence, reliability and style.
Personally, I have average feet, slightly on the wider side, and the 991v2 fits me perfectly true to size. This model in my opinion, runs a little narrower in the toe box. It offers a relatively close one on one fit, and going down a half size for an extra snug feel, may be too tight and challenging—unless you have narrow feet.
In conclusion, in my experience, the 991v2 offers a heightened level of comfort, quality and reliability. Capturing the beauty, perfection and prestige of its 99X predecessor’s in design, heritage and allure.
