MOTHER

Founded in 2010 by premium-denim industry pros Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER specializes in collections that present a juxtaposition of hard and soft. The brand evokes teenage rebellion, unconditional love and hilarious insult all at the same time (the company's name is a play on the duality of the word "mother," which can be nurturing or a cuss).

Runs at least one size small

I really wanted to love these jeans. Unfortunately, I bought my usual size and couldn’t fit into them. The color and fabric are fantastic, but I will be returning this pair (sadly). I might consider purchasing the next size up.

what is happening to Mother

Got these in 26, the top of the legs are loose, the waist is in a weird position, not low and not mid rise and they’re way too long

Love! but SO small

I always wear a 28/29 in Mother depending on how rigid the fit is. But had to get a 30 in these and they have stretch! Not thrilled by this (hence the 4 stars), but I love the fit of the jean so I’ll keep them.

Abnormally small

I usually wear a 25 in Mother, these are so small in the waist I might have to size up 2 sizes which is not ideal. They have definitely changed their sizing and not for the better, cute jeans though!

And the inseam measures very short. Not sure what’s going on with MOTHER’s sizing, but this one is a NOOOOOO!

great jeans

I’m 5 3” and am around a size 6 normally- got these in a 29 and they’re great. Could have had them hemmed but I wear with heels so they work Great distressed look. Mother quality
