Montroig Canvas Espadrille Flats

I really wanted to like these. I’m a true 6.5 and they are slightly large, and slightly wide in the toe. They arrived packaged beautifully, and the shoe seems quality on first look. I was disappointed however that the insides of the shoes by the balls of your feet appear either worn and damaged, or not finished correctly at the manufacturer, one has two small gashes along with a rough texture and the other has the rough worn texture on that spot as well. See photos. I put them on, and wow the squeaking. The material that’s on the inside of the shoe on top of your foot rubs against your toes as you walk, and squeak squeak squeak squeak. It’s the same finish on the entire inside of the shoe so any way you walk, you squeak. You can’t hide it. It is so obnoxious. Unfortunately had to return, expensive shoes shouldn’t be noisy.

I’m absolutely loving these shoes. They are super cute and very comfortable, although it did take a couple times of wearing th to break them in. Just a tip, you may want to order a 1/2 size smaller than what you normally wear. I normally wear a size 7 but had to go down to a 6.5 in these shoes.

Comfortable and beautiful. Can easily dress up or down. The perfect shoes for summer.

Great for work in summer when you have to walk a lot. Recommend!
