pros and cons
Buying a piece by Monica Vinader should feel special. This necklace was packaged in a small plastic bag, tossed into the bottom of a 12 lb box with other items in the same order. I’m glad I found it!
While the heart locket is pretty, there is an issue with the cord. There is no closure device, fastener, or length-adjustment slide. It’s just a cord that must be tied for wear. That doesn’t provide much security.

Cord too long
I agree with the three reviewers who were disappointed with the packaging and presentation of this necklace. it arrived in separate pieces, which I would have to put together; it wasn't in its own small jewelry box; and it was buried in a very large outside box. In addition, the cord is much longer than represented in the photo. I love this brand; however, this necklace does not match the other pieces I've purchased in this brand. I will be returning this.

Poor Presentation
I agree with the other reviewer. It was tossed in a very large shipment box with a dozen other items. I was expecting in a box and it would be already assembled. The necklace is very nice but I cannot figure out the cord. I have other Monica Vonda’s items I brought over the years and they have all come beautifully packaged. Still deciding if I will keep the necklace.

Terrible Presentation
Visual presentation is important to Nordstrom shoppers and I agree with the other reviewers that this necklace was just tossed into a large box along with the other two clothing items I purchased. No nice Nordstrom jewelry box included. Very disappointed as this item is intended as a special gift.

I LOVE IT!
Unlike other shoppers, my necklace did come in a small cardboard box protected in a small plastic bag. I have worn this almost every day this summer! I love it! It’s casual but makes a statement. The silk cord is long but I just shortened it when making the knot and it’s fine. I’m a heart fanatic and somewhat conservative when it comes to jewelry, so this piece works well for me. The heart locket is a bit small and beveled on the inside, so I’m not sure that a photo would fit.
