Mictlán Wall Art

A piece designed to accentuate tables and walls. Within a frame of certified pine wood, a rectangular textile of blanket fabric is displayed; fixed to this are raw cotton fringes recovered from our Repurposed technique, showcasing the skill and mastery of the artisanal technique of cutting in geometric patterns. This represents the pictographic writing from ancient Mixteca and Zapoteca cultures that inhabited the Oaxaca valley for centuries.
