Mickey Terry Adjustable Shower Slide Slipper (Women)

I had hoped that the Velcro flaps would adjust enough to fit narrow feet (Mine are AA, not AAAA). Unfortunately, these still don’t fit securely enough even after adjusting the Velcro flaps, because the lower outer flap edge of each slipper is cut too wide and sewn in at an angle, so it doesn’t lie straight across (90 degrees), but curves up at a 65?-degree angle. Either the angle is wrong or there is too much fabric at the lower outer edge—or BOTH—because it gaps at the very spot that holds the foot in the slipper. Even adjusting the Velcro several times didn’t get rid of that gap, so the slipper diid not—will not!—hold my foot securely. Plus, by the time I got it as tight as possible, the top flap stuck out so far that it looked like a wing on a plane—silly. The upper flap is too long and the lower flap (hidden) is too short to make these fully adjustable: The flaps should be more equal in size to fit more feet! Mine aren’t super-narrow; I can wear B width sneakers with ties and with heels that are cut on the narrow side because my heels are what are truly narrow. But I have a low arch too, so that combined with the narrowish foot means these STILL slip off even adjusted as tightly as possible. I really hate the fact that all slippers manufactured or sold in the U.S. seem to be made for wide feet and high arches. These fall off my feet just like regular unadjustable women’s slippers (with or without heels). On steps, slippers that don’t hold the upper part of the foot securely are a SAFETY HAZARD. So these are useless, darn it. Is there any manufacturer that makes slippers to fit narrow feet with low arches? I understand I’m in the minority, but if Dearfoam had just sewn the lower flap at more of a 90-degree angle (decreasing the curve upward) AND made the lower flap longer so more of its Velcro made contact with the upper flap Velcro they might have fit. The upper flap would still stick out too much, but I would gladly suffer the goofy appearance if only they held my feet secure.

This is the third time I’ve bought these slippers. I have large wide feet so I love the adjustability - so easy! The other must have is the super comfortable sole. My feet get sore very quickly and the memory foam is perfect for this issue. Also love the pretty blue color. My feet tend to overheat very easily too, so the open toe design is ideal for me.

these slides are obviously giving summer with the bold multi-colored stripes but the positives don't stop there. the rubber soles are perfect for indoor AND outdoor so no more switching shoes before i go outside. comfort levels are out of the world, every step is like walking on a cloud and bonus perk, they're machine washable! would absolutely repurchase these over & over!
