SUPER COMFY Not So Elderly Looking
I ordered these based on the sale price and Mephisto brand. I’d hesitate to call this a 100% sneaker. It is more a wing tip crossed with a sneaker. I bought it in the walnut color, but thought it might look very elderly and dated. Surprise when I received it! The perforations in the design and shape of the toe yells WING TIP! The somewhat shiny walnut color, somehow translates to fashion forward, especially if you pair with the right accessories. It is SO, SO comfy right out of the box. Seriously. Even though I bought Marilis now and it is Spring in the Seattle area, I suppose I could still squeak by getting a few wears now before retiring until Fall. Can’t wait. WIN+WIN! It fits perfectly and I have a rather wide foot but the tapering to the toe is right on.
