calfskin not generic leather
I struggled writing this review because my conflict with this product is not related to the actual product, but the description by Nordstrom. Let me explain: This card case is beautiful—in design and function. However, after consulting the Longchamp website, I learned it is made from calfskin. Nordstrom lists it simply as “leather.” No judgment whatsoever for those comfortable buying calfskin, but I am not comfortable. If Nordstrom had identified this product accurately, I would not have purchased it and had to return it. Again, I love Longchamp bags and understand theirs is a legacy of high quality leather. But I would respectfully request that Nordstrom distinguish between cowhide and leather and calfskin for consumers’ benefit.

Slim profile, holds a lot. Beautiful design.
I LOVE this. I got the brown color, the leather is soft enough to easily slip cards in and out and hold cash. The slim profile is perfect for my smaller bags but it’s now my daily wallet in every bag. I would recommend. I’ll buy in other colors when available.
