Maris Zip Bootie

I was really excited when I saw these so made the purchase. I have been looking for a high-quality pair of rounded square toe ankle boots for a while, since my other ones bit the dust. These look amazing except for one thing… the sole and the heel are a very dark espresso color, not black. I had to go back and look at the picture to make sure I wasn’t crazy. Sure enough you can barely see it in the picture that they are in fact, espresso heels, and espresso sole. This is a big disappointment because I wanted a pair of black boots, and I expect the heel to be black. I even tried them on thinking I might reconsider one I see them on. They are fantastic high-quality, amazing, comfortable and look great. I just can’t get past the espresso heel on black leather boots. I am going to return these sadly. The search continues for my perfect rounded square toe, black leather ankle boots. Would be 5 stars if they were all black. Not sure why they decided the with the espresso heel and sole. Looks good if they are any family of brown color in all ranges, but not black.

The length is slightly long, width may be slightly wide (fit me well and sometimes need a wide arch). Disappointed in the leather material- felt and looked cheap, not SW quality.

Very comfortable and stylish.
