Charis Cotton & Silk Shirt

The print and color are absolutely gorgeous. However, no one at Alice + Olivia seems to understand women’s bodies or how to make clothes that actually fit women’s bodies. The sleeves are outrageously large- basically parachutes, yet they’re pleated silk so they can’t even be brought in. At the same time, the inner seam is weirdly short and pulls any time you move your arms. I just don’t understand what they were thinking. Five stars on color and print and fabric. Negative two stars for fit and tailoring.

I was disappointed with this blouse. The fit is awkward; the sleeves are too large, and the torso is too short making it an uncomfortable top. The quality and print are also lackluster.
