Manhattan One-Shoulder Top

For reference, I am 5'5' and 120 lbs. I usually wear an XS to a S in most clothes when I want more room. I'd say my body proportions are pretty standard, I never really have a problem with sizing or fit when it comes to tops. I ordered the same version of this shirt in the long sleeve XS and it fit completely fine...however, this short-sleeve version was a sizing nightmare! When I originally ordered size S, it fit fine on top but the shirt was long. I mean, INSANELY LONG. Keep in mind I am someone who has A LONG TORSO, so if a shirt is long on me, it's going to be a DRESS on someone with regular back length. There was so much extra fabric it looked bulky even when I tucked it in. I mean seriously, this shirt when down to my mid-thigh! So because the XS in the long-sleeve Manhattan fit fine, I figured the same would apply here. I exchanged my shirt for a XS. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, it did. When I received the XS, I kid you not I could NOT fit this shirt over my shoulders. There is ZERO stretch and it was extremely narrow. I'm a small person. I don't understand what adult woman could fit in this shirt unless she is extremely narrow. When I finally got the XS on, it squeezed me so hard in the armpit area that it actually pinched the armpit fat and was extremely unflattered on the sleeved side. It was like a shirt made to show off armpit fat. Once again, I'm a very thin person. Never has a shirt made me feel big or like I needed to loose weight...until now! That being said, the long sleeve version fit fine. So I'm not sure what's going on here with the sizing. The S fit shoulders but was extremely long, and the XS could not go over my shoulders but was the proper length. Unless you are a really narrow person or plan on getting a larger size and tailoring it, I would not order. Also the white was sheer.
