Sleeveless Chambray Top

I like the style and fabric of this top and it fits in very well with my wardrobe and "look." However, I gave it 4 stars because, as you might guess from the photo, the armholes are quite large. Why do designers do this? Are they so in love with their cleverness that they do not think of the woman wearing it and worrying about her bra showing. I can wear a blue bra or else a bright or white camisole. I think I would return it if I had paid full price. I would say it runs large but the fit is quite straight to the hem (no flare) so it would not suit if you are small on top with wider hips.

This is a well-made, soft denim shirt. It is cut just a little on the boxy side and does run large. I am usually a size 6 or 8 and the 6 was too big for me. I definitely would suggest going at least one size down...if not two.
