The Ryder Ankle Boot (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new fave loafer for the season! Super comfortable and super cute! They are a bit big on me but I bought them a half size bigger than my typical size because my size was sold out. I just had to have them so I just wear a thick boot sock with them and they fit just fine. I’m guessing they probably would typically run true to size. Maybe a bit on the smaller side since I’m able to wear a half size up with a thick sock.

The left shoe is smaller than the right, there's an uncomfortable stretchy band across the middle (to keep the shoe on I guess?), The shoe also folds down when trying to put it on, makes it very difficult to put them on. Even with the sale price I don't think they are worth what I paid. I've purchased a lot of shoes and boots from Madewell, these are the only ones I don't like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe's look promised comfort, but they were 'pinchy' and narrow in certain spots. Even after using a shoe tree to stretch, there wasn't much help for the section that rubbed and pinched. I'm convinced that Madewell has altered their shoe platform.In almost two decades, their shoes (and especially boots, have fit my feet so well- no breaking in needed), but it's touch and go nowaddays.
