The Longline Straight Jeans

I bought these jeans several weeks ago and have worn them a number of times. I am 5'9" with long legs and the Tall is perfect. They are comfortable and fit well at the waist and through the hips and legs. I didn't notice at the time I purchased them that they had a button closure. These are great all-purpose jeans.

Not skinny, not wide leg, just a lovely straight long leg that hugs the hips and butt without pinching or clinging anywhere you don’t want them to. I am pretty standard a 26 in Madewell pants, with a couple exceptions in 25 and 27. I don’t know that I would say they run small but they do run smaller than most of the recent Madewell jeans styles. I am pretty standard a 26 or 27 across all brands and in these, I went with 27 Tall in both the Atlin and Greendale wash. I like the button fly on the Atlin but some may not. Greendale is a normal zip fly. These are great everyday jeans but you need to try on for sizing and length. The waist and hips run similar to the stovepipe pair I got last year (my other 27 exception) but the legs are looser. For reference, I am 5’9” tall, 145 lbs, lean athletic build. Hope that helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit is great! I'm 5'9" with a long inseam and the talls are the perfect length. I would agree with the other review that based on Madewell's size chart, these fit small. My waist is 26", hips are 36" and I bought a size 26. Go up one size if you're getting the 100% cotton.
