Merino Wool Blend Maxi Skirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The skirt itself is lovely. Too long for my 5’4” frame, but the waist can be easily flipped over to shorten the length some. Where it missed the mark for me was the color. The “molasses” description is correct. It’s a super deep cool brown bordering on black. Not bad in and of itself, but I was getting this skirt for my newly purchased chocolate brown suede boots, which are not so dark and a touch warmer in tone, but what I would consider an average deep brown. So my boots looked funny against this skirt and I will return the skirt. Perhaps more of a tan, camel, taupe, or rust boot would look nice.
