Made in USA 990 v6 Sneaker

I really wanted to give these shoes a 5 star review. I love the fit and they are super comfortable. I’ve worked them everyday for the last 2 weeks, I go on about 2-5 mile walks every morning with my kids because I’m a stay at home mom so I need DURABLE walking shoes that will last me because I do not have a ton of money to spend so when O do, they are an investment for me (my adidas have lasted me over 3 years and been washed multiple times) I got these because I could wear them casually and as walking shoes and I am so disappointed to report that I have noticed parts of the shoe literally FALLING apart, in areas where it looks like a shoe would be held together by glue maybe and not stitching. I’m so sad because they have only lasted me 2 weeks and again, IM A STAY AT HOME MOM. I’m so torn whether to just bite my tongue and take the hit or bring these back to the store and ask for an exchange in hopes that I just got a faulty pair. I think if you aren’t planning on wearing these everyday for walking or in the title of the shoes “running.” you could definitely make these last casually but that kind of defeats the purpose of them….

I typically wear a 6.5 - I sized up to a 7 and wore these shoes for less than 30 minutes they were so painful that I am still in severe pain days later. The top of these shoes are hard and put pressure on my tendons - no matter how much you loosen the strings or size up they are just tight on top

Bought a size 8 in grey and they were ridiculously too big. I then realized that the width sizes listed on the box was a B which are for men. Looked online and realized that the listing “Made in USA 990 v6 Sneaker (Women)” also has the B/D width sizing for men instead of the M/W for women. Basically, you’re buying the 990 v6 men’s shoe so size appropriately. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning these.

This is my 3rd pair of the 990 series and this latest model is really a great improvement with all the support you expect and a nice light weight.

Very comfortable, supportive. Good arch, grippy sole, removable insole. These are made in USA, not imported as listing says, which is why they are priced as they are. Highly recommended.

Hole developed in the mesh at the toe area after just 6 months. This was not from my toes (it's not tight, doesn't rub there, and my nails are short). I only wear this for walking and don't even do any physical activity or kicking that would have caused this hole. Dissapointing quality especially for this price. I splurged on these to be matching with my partner, and his did not have this issue so might be a quality issue with mine. Never had other, cheaper, shoes develop a hole like this before.
