Abbie Drop Earrings

I’m completely befuddled that these earrings passed Kenda Scott quality control. How Nordstrom passed these on to be mailed to me is really disappointing. These earring have glints of navy and are mostly grey sludge. Hard to believe since they are supposed to be lapis with glints of gold veining. I could give on the gold veining but these are dark navy is small spots. Terrible!

I generally like KS earrings in druzy and have several. While they are cheap brass, I have so far found they maintain their coloring and I don't have any discoloration on my skin. The silver and rose gold druzy is markedly better than the black, btw. KS earrings are also fairly sturdy compared to other costume jewelry, and KS has lovely packaging. We bought these earrings as a teacher gift because the teacher's favorite color was teal. The color was actually probably close to denim, without any streaks of anything. The ones in the photo look markedly streaked like azurite, I think. So...beware. I personally prefer to buy KS at Nordstrom compared to KS stores even though KS stores would typically have way more you can inspect. KS does not allow refunds but only exchanges or credit, which I find odd. Conversely, at Nordstrom, if you buy it in cash, the gift recipient doesn't like it, doesn't have pierced ears, whatever....they can return it for cash.
