Poor quality shoelace and shoe tongue.
I have many shoes made by Joseph Seibel. This is the first pair with stretchy shoelaces. I needed to sinch down the tightness on the shoe, but the lace does not allow it. My foot was very loose in my usual size 9. The first hour I wore these shoes the metal cap on the shoelace broke off and is missing. Now the laces are not secured, and the frayed and broken lace is exposed. The lace is so stretchy that I can pull the lace back about 8-10 inches. The tongue of the shoe moves forward when you put your foot in the shoe. Poor design all around. I need these shoes for my trip this week so I will try to purchase regular non stretch shoestrings to replace the broken stretchy shoestrings that came with the shoe. For this price I would expect better quality.

These were a great surprise---comfortable right out of the box. Nice quality leather, good arch support and well padded insoles. But best of all for me, with my 11.5, thin, flat feet, is that these shoes are long enough. It's so hard for me to find shoes that fit and look attractive (which these do). They don't look huge on my feet. They are wider than I need, but I tightened the elastic laces to compensate. I can substitute my orthotics for the insoles they came with, but decided that for now, the regular insoles feel better. I can always change them out if needed. I just ordered a second pair, in indigo.

Comfortable right out of the box!
So very comfortable! Great looking shoe - love the black leather with the grey colored sole. You can actually tie the ends of the shoelaces if you're wanting a snugger fit, or if you don't want the ends dangling. I love to wear them both ways.

need to fix you web site to show correct colors!!!
I order these because they fit and comfortable to wear, but the picture shows white around the bottom , when I received them its was a dark gray , black? Why would you put the picture in one color and send a different color????
