Textured Satin Long Sleeve Button-Up Shirt

I love chartreuse. It’s misunderstood and a lot of people fear it. I was one of them, until a friend with similar coloring looked so great it, and she suggested I try. So fabulous! And I wondered, where has this been all my life? I’ve been on the lookout for a chartreuse piece for a long time, and I had thought my search would end with this piece from tried and true, Vince Camuto. Nope…Not this time. The brand generally runs a bit on the large size, which works for me. Not with this piece. It looked cheap out of the box, but I can fix that. The body was short and skimpy, and the button placket gapped. I can’t fix that. The sleeves could have been retooled to scale, but I would have just rolled them. Aside from the no-fit factor, I couldn’t get past the feel of the fabric…itchy and rough. I wasn’t a fan of the texture, but it was less noticeable on me than on the hanger. My chartreuse search continues….
