Isle Jacobsen Long Quilted Jacket

I like this coat and I'm keeping it but there were some issues with sizing and the zipper. I debated between the 8 and 10 and decided to go with the 8. The coat I received had a sewn-in tag that said 36/6 but the hangtag said 38/8. So I'm not sure what size I received, but it's probably a 6/36. Anyway, it fits okay. If I wanted to wear a very heavy sweater under it I would probably have gone up a size. The zipper was very difficult to move initially but I sprayed it with a dry lubricant and it works well now.

I bought this jacket after buying a black one on vacation (I didn't pack a warm enough coat, and needed one ASAP). I really like this jacket! Because of its "low profile" thickness, I have worn it under a raincoat, under a puffy coat, and on its own. It is very warm and comfy. It is a great length, a bit lower in the back for a stylish flair. I clean off spots with a wet cloth. The only negative is the collar takes time to break in. It could be softer.

The knit collar on this coat is stiff and scratchy on my jaw and cheeks. Not only is the collar itself very stiff and scratchy, but the coat's zipper runs all the way to the top of the collar - on the inside - so even when the coat is only partially zipped, the zipper scratches my jaw and cheek. Too bad, because I love the shape, material, and fit of this coat. I am going to return the coat.
