Ultrasoft Denim Capri Leggings

I already have the Ultrasoft leggings in the longer length and love them for their comfort. I have 4 of Hue's crop leggings bought in years past, but their waistbands are all small and the leggings don't come up as much at the waist and tend to pull downwards from the waist as a result. This new ultra soft model was not described as Hue's high-rise model here (although they are described as such elsewhere), but I think these here are definitely higher rise. I love these leggings not only due to the newer, softer and more stretchy and very comfortable denim material, but the overall design is much better. The waistband is wider and a bit heavier, and the rise is definitely much higher than my older leggings. I hope Nordstrom will soon sell some of the other colors for this model, the blue denim in particular. As always, the Medium fits best. 5'6", 144 lbs.

It was tricky to determine the size I needed from the range of reviews. I am 5'9" and fit...not skinny. I wear size XS in Hue leggings...and size S in Hue denim leggings and the nicer Hue pant leggings....however, the small denim leggings are tight around the waist area...fine for running errands...but not for doing lunch. lol I wanted capri length leggings that would be comfortable for lunch. These work. They do not feel or look as denim-like as I expected and that is okay. They are "dressier" than active leggings and that is what I needed. They are definitely sufficiently big around the waist...not gaping ...but comfortable. The length is longer than you might think...they are closer to my ankle than my knees unlike the photos....but they are still shorter in length, which is what I wanted. In regular jeans, I need Size 8 or 10...but wear size Small in most skirts, dresses, sweaters, tshirts, active leggings, etc. So, I ranked this as true to size because the Medium fits loosely as I would expect.

I’ve been looking for years and tried different styles and brands of leggings. These are perfect in fit and length and colors. I can dress them up or run errands and relax at home in them. They wash very good and still look the same. I love the back pockets detail. They feel like you are wearing jeans rather than gym leggings. They are light material and sturdy.. I purchased every color and I just purchased another one in each color. I now have two pairs in each color just in case Hue may not have them again..
