Myrna Satin Corset Dress

I tried this as well as the Reva and Sirene from House of CB. I like this, but did not keep it as I preferred the Reva. It was a matter of preference only, as all three were beautiful dresses. Be sure to consult the House of CB size chart. At the time of writing this, it shows on Nordstrom's website that a XS is a 2-4. I am often an extra small, or a 2/4 in dresses, and in most jeans, so I went with an XS. However, XS in House of CB is way too small for me. So I exchanged for Smalls and they are perfect - I would have known that if I consulted the House of CB size chart initially. In this I tried the color Olive, which is beautiful. I don't need bras with any of the House of CB styles I tried (32b). The material is thick, and this style is sexy yet appropriate for a wedding in my opinion.

I ordered this dress to wear at a wedding and it was honestly a nightmare experience. I ordered the same dress in the same color three times and each one had the same issue where the center seam of the corset was horribly crooked. You would think that a dress over $200 would be well constructed, but instead each one was worse than the other. There's a reason all these dresses are on sale at Nordstrom, and that's because they're just shuffling the remaining inventory that's been returned over and over again due to this defect. I've added images below of each dress. On top of that, I ordered another dress two weeks before the event, and after multiple delays in shipping, Nordstrom ended up not even mailing the dress and cancelled my order the day the dress was supposed to arrive. Deeply disappointed in this experience, and will reconsider ever ordering from Nordstrom again. Other issues: - Straps are adjustable, but because it's satin, throughout the night they slide down - Dress is so tight, you have to unzip and take the dress off in order to use the bathroom in it A shame because the dress is super flattering and beautifully designed.
