High Waist Wool Wide Leg Pants

I’ve been a loyal Nordstrom customer for years — I buy most of my clothes there — but this experience has completely changed how I see the company. I returned an item worth $268, with proof it was delivered back to them, and they still refused to issue a refund. No help, no accountability, just silence. Apparently, this happens a lot during the holidays — they “lose” returns and customers are left without their money. It’s really sad when a brand you’ve trusted for years starts playing games with honest customers. I guess I’m out nearly $300. From now on, I’ll be shopping directly with Eileen Fisher — at least they stand by their word.

I absolutely love these Eileen Fisher wool pants. The elastic waistband makes them effortless to pull on, but they still look polished and intentional. They instantly elevate any top I pair them with—from casual knits to more structured pieces. The wool is warm without being overheating, which makes them perfect for long days and changing temperatures. The length and pant width are especially well-designed: every type of boot looks great with them, including winter boots, and the hem stays clean and dry instead of dragging or getting wet. Comfortable, flattering, and incredibly versatile.

I purchased this pant in "wren" color in winter 2024 and got the biscuit this year. I've been waiting for camel to come back in style and I'm so glad it did. Love these pants. I'm 5'2", 125 lbs, curvy on bottom, and the Petite S fits me very comfortably. I could go a size down, but I prefer a looser, skimming fit. I did experiment on a use / thrifted pair to see if these pants are washable in spite of the dry clean tag -- yes, they can be washed without destroying the fabric but they do shrink 2-3" in length, slightly in width. I have found a hot steam iron tightens up the fabric after it seats-out from a few wears (meaning, gets baggy in the butt), and that helps quite a bit.
