Helium Waterproof Pants

I bought these specifically for my fish and float trip in Alaska. I would wear them around camp when I would take my waders off. These were perfect. Every time I wore them my base layers remained dry. I had other people on the trip who were soaking wet after wearing other brands. I'm very happy with how light and capable these pants are.

The rain pants every traveler should have. My wife and I both have the Helium rain pants. Perfect for travel and emergency rain gear. I carry mine daily in my urban commute, and together our pants have been to France, london, Iceland, and Amsterdam. Each time weighing very little and taking up very little space in your travel luggage. Both the pants AND jacket fit in my fanny pack..... I mean my overpriced "cross-chest sling bag" along with most of what I need on that day's adventure. Fit and finish is nice and dependable. This is a buy-once-cry-once purchase for many. but if you do it early on you will not be sorry for years to come.

I bought these for a trip to Iceland and wore them for hikes. They’re great not just for light rain, but also for general wind protection. I wore light hiking pants underneath and they paired perfectly to keep my legs warm. The zippers and snaps at the bottom of the pants are great for putting on and taking off while you’re still wearing boots. My only complaint is that the only pocket is a small rear hip pocket. I get that it’s necessary to keep them truly water resistant, but it was kind of annoying.
