ActiveIce Spectrum Sun Hoodie

I’ve been wearing this hoodie on very hot days 92-100 degree days. It has kept me cool. I can cover up completely with the hoodie. It’s the one I reach for when it’s to be hot. I’ve had a heat event so I prepare more before heading out. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I wore this today for a 4 hour hike with an exposed summit - heather grey - and my upper chest is burnt. I think the other reviews on this sun hoody are fake.

Had these for a couple of years, and they’re really my go to sun hoodie. Love the colors, perfect thickness to really be breathable in the heat and hold in a little warmth in the chilly evenings, and the sun protection is crucial. I wear this and some super thin pants and I’m good from about 60-90 degrees. It’s also a strange but comfortable material. Kind of feels like somewhere between silk and neoprene—like a really soft, thin, stretchy wetsuit. And lastly, the hoodie is perfectly cut so it fits a hat well, but stays right where you want it and isn’t super floppy. Would definitely buy again once they come back with cooler colors.

Excellent protection working or paddling on hot days. No paddler should go without some kind of sun protection garment. I pair this with a wide brim hat and I'm good on the trail and on the water (where I mostly use it)

Great lightweight hoodie for the sun. I work in San Antonio Texas in the sun and this hoodie works well to keep the sun off of me and keep me cool.
