My 3rd Raffia Visor
This is my 3rd "Mita" visor. I love them. I live in San Diego where we have lot's of sun, consequently I do not leave home without it. It covers well, yet doesn't mash down your hair like hats do. As mentioned it packs very well, keeping it's shape nicely after being compressed in a bag. With everyday use it remains atractive even with being touched often with sunscreen on my hands! Do not pass this visor up.

Good idea, but not accurate productdescription
Product description says that it's packable but after packing mine for a 30 min trip, it put a big crease in the bill that I'm unable to get out. For $150 it's pretty disappointing.

Not completely what I expected
I love Helen Kaminski hats, but the item description doesn't tell you that the elastic of the visor goes around the whole visor - meaning, even when you untie the ribbon, there is an elastic band that keeps the hat connected. While this might be beneficial during strong winds on the beach, it's not what I wanted for my hair. Will be returning.

This is a lovely oversized Helen Kaminski straw visor but it was way too tight on my head and there is no way to adjust it to make it larger. Unfortunately. I had to return it.

Great coverage
I purchased this for my mom who does not like to crush her hair with hats. She is a fair complected redhead and needs sun protection. This visor was perfect. It shades her cheeks as well as her nose without crushing her hair, while being classy. She loved it.
