Head Over Heels Patchwork Wide Leg Jeans

These are my new favorite jeans. They are so fun and creative! I'm 5'4" and 155lbs and usually wear 29-30 in FP Denim depending on the fabric content. In denim without stretch (like these), I would usually order a 30, but 29 ended up being a better choice because these are heavy. They have a lovely swing to them, especially if you open the side slits. I do prefer the slightly snugger waist to keep them from hanging too low. They sit about an inch below my belly button (with a belt). I wear them with 2" platforms, and they just about brush the ground. The slim hips and wide legs are especially flattering with a little extra height from the shoes. I will also mention that I'm narrow in the hips and shoulders and will never be mistaken for curvy. If I had hips to speak of, I'd definitely need to go with the larger size.
