I've been looking for a short-heeled ankle boot to wear with boot-cut and wide-leg jeans this fall, and these are exactly what I was hoping for. The cacao brown suede is the perfect fall color and looks even better in person. I'm usually a size 7, and I think these run just slightly large—but in a good way. They leave enough room for thicker socks without feeling too loose. So I'd stick to your normal size unless you have a wider foot. I was deciding between these and the Veronica Beard booties that were also part of the sale, but I actually preferred these. Every other ankle boot I've tried has had an overly exaggerated pointed toe, while these have a softer shape that feels much more flattering and timeless. They're a nice change from the typical pointed-toe styles, which can look a bit too sharp on my feet. I definitely recommend them!
