Modeled on traditional fisherman’s footwear, this take on the brand's Gen-FF sandals boasts a directional, chunky sole and strappy upper that hugs around your foot for added security. Crafted from a subtly textured tumbled leather, the straps are finished with a curvy brushed-metal buckle that adjusts the fit at the ankle. Gorgeous not secure & buckle irritating
I love the way these look — the tiny gold studs are subtle and lovely and the overall look with the chunky platform is a street-y. style I favor. The footbed feels pretty supportive but even on my slightly wide forefoot (narrow heels) there is too much play for the sandal to feel secure. When I tightened the buckle to try and rectify this, it dug into my foot. They also run a little log but that doesn't trouble me. Breaks my heart but I have problem feet and need a supportive, secure shoe. These sold out quickly on fitflop.com so apparently they are popular and work for many people, but not for me. I think these go back and my search continues...

Never thought I would buy FitFlops
