Runners: run AWAY from these loop
I’ve been running for over 20 years and wanted to try something new after a friend recommended these. Well… let’s just say that friend and I need to have a conversation (kidding… mostly).
Unfortunately, these are the worst running sneakers I’ve ever tried. I have a normal foot with a high arch, and these completely missed the mark for me. They caused noticeable arch pain almost immediately, which is something I rarely experience.
The fit is also confusing—while they don’t feel narrow when you first put them on, they feel tight and restrictive when landing, almost like your foot doesn’t have enough room to move naturally. On top of that, there’s little to no ankle support, which makes the overall ride feel unstable and uncomfortable.
I really wanted to like these, but they just didn’t work for me at all. Runners—consider this your warning: you may want to look elsewhere.

Good running shoes
I got these really because I liked the look of them and wanted an alternative show for my training runs. It is super light weight but it is quite comfortable and sturdy even for longer runs. I am curious to see if they hold up.

Fantastic shoe! Soft yet snappy
Sized up for these which were a perfect fit. Great width in to box. Softer feel under foot but still very snappy. Felt the same at the end of a 30km as they did at the start

Awesome upgrade from the v4!
Have been wearing NB for several years. Started with the Beacon before switching to these. Absolutely love them! Definitely an upgrade from the v4, as I feel that these are a bit firmer and responsive, and therefore more suitable for those longer distances. I am also coming back from a back injury and these are the only shoes I trust. Will definitely be buying in more colors.
