Fuego Down Parka - Women's

(For sizing, I bought a size M and all my other Cotopaxi jackets are also M. I'm 5'-8", 138#, athletic build. ) I hemmed and hawed over buying ANOTHER Cotopaxi jacket (I currently have a hoodless long sleeve and a vest. ) I wondered if I really needed yet another jacket. Welp, this winter has been brutal and I decided I wanted something that would provide warmth to include my head (the hood) and my bottom (parka length. ) While the jacket is long (over my bottom and rests about 3. 5" above my knee cap,) it does NOT prohibit me from walking or shoveling the sidewalk. It fits perfectly and it's not too bulky. There is a bottom zipper that allows you to unzip the bottom section which is great for sitting in the car or when kneeling. The hood does not have drawstrings. Not a problem because you have to put the hood on BEFORE fully zipping up the coat. The hood is cut so that it stays in place when the zipper is all the way up. This is surprisingly nice. No adjustment needed. If I want the hood off, I just unzip the coat slightly and pull it off. The pockets are nice and deep and both have zippers. There is a large deep open pocket on the interior. There is also a zippered interior pocket in which you can stuff and store the ENTIRE coat. This is one of the things I've always loved about my other Cotopaxi jackets. The jacket is lightweight yet keeps me warm and cozy. The outside and inside are silky smooth. The color is delightful. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My only regret is waiting so long to add this one to my closet. :)
