Harrie Wide Leg Suiting Pants

I've been on the hunt for ivory wide leg dress pants for some time, and the is about the 8th pair/brand I have tried. I had low expectations after reading the reviews, and they were right. The color was perfect, exactly what I was looking for. The material wasn't bad for the price point. I'm usually a 4-6 and always go for a 6 in pants like this so they sit a little lower and I can gain some length (I'm 5'7" and always land in between "regular" and "tall" inseam pants). In these, I had to go up to an 8 and even those were a tad tight in the waist, but I could have lived with it. The real problems were the pleats and hips. The way they lay, and the largeness of the hips overall, made me look 20+lbs heavier. It made me look like I have a belly (I don') and also made my hips look quite wide. From the side, I looked huge. I think if you have a small waist, wide hips and a belly, these could be great. Unfortunately that is just not my body type, so they went back.
